This text offers a preliminary specification of what we might call ‘immersive artistic forms’ by proposing some criteria to identify them. The first part is dedicated to the topic of technology and consists of two sections focused on the relationship between art, knowledge and operational practices. The second part, also divided into two sections, addresses some issues in the metaphysics of art, the relationship between form and structure, and presents the identification criteria to use the term ‘immersive artistic forms’.
