The following paper presents the results from the first campaign of archaeological excavation in the hortus of the Praedia Iuliae Felicis (Pompeii, II, 4). Following two seasons of geophysical measurements, in 2019 we opened three trenches in order to reconstruct the original arrangement of the large open garden of the Praedia and to verify the architectural phases that preceded the construction of Iulia Felix’ estate.
