La Cassa Depositi e Prestiti: eredità storica e proiezioni future

Moving from the transformations that are affecting the economic role of the State, the article focuses on the present functions and governance of the Cassa depositi e prestiti. Particular attention is given to the elements of the economic and social context that have determined the Cassa’s evolution and to the problem of the Cassa’s current suitability to meet the industrial challenges posed by the new post-pandemic economic cycle.

L’articolo, muovendo dalle trasformazioni che stanno interessando le forme dell’in­tervento dello Stato in economia, si sofferma sul ruolo della Cassa depositi e prestiti. Particolare attenzione viene data agli elementi di contesto economico-sociale che hanno determinato l’evoluzione della Cassa e sul problema dell’attuale idoneità della Cassa a far fronte alle sfide industriali poste dal nuovo ciclo economico post-pandemia.
